I do not understand the great campaign against Logitech. On the back of the keyboard is also one additional USB port. ( Of course if it does not fit for you, you can disamble them). What else, the keys originally have O-rings that reduce noise. Besides you get a plastic wrist rest ( which I do not use because i have homemade pads). Separate media keys and roll for volume control (due to their size and shape they are rubber dome). In addition, compared to Ducky you receive keys for recording macros. Keys backlight works well (here due to the fact that LEDs are at the top of the switch, bottom row of printing on the key shines a little darker). I can agree with that keycaps are poor quality but that's it.
If you have any questions I will try to answer or post photos. But in mine Ducky is not available at all. I don't know what is difference in price between Ducky and g710+ in your country. It is their first mechanical keyboard ( so I think they have the right to some small mistakes) but anyway generally it is a good equipment. I seriously respect Logitech for their customer support and some of their products (Logitech G400/G400S, G600, G602, F510, F710, G27), but they're just awful when it comes down to mechanical keyboard. And I know I'm not alone with this problem:

Excellent software (but could be better if you were able to customize the whole keyboard), it looks awesome and isn't bad to type on, but seriously, when the G5, left CTRL and Print Screen keys broke after 3 months (and I barely used it on these 3 months) you know something went wrong when they created this keyboard. I've got 3 broken keycaps on mine (which is a review sample sent by Logitech themselves) and I scored it a 6/10 on my review.

The worst keycaps I've seen on a mechanical keyboard, so bad that they even broke during use (and no, I didn't raged at the keyboard), the front plastic cover is a joke and overall it just doesn't feels as good as other keyboards.įrom left to right: Logitech G710+, Tt Meka G-Unit, Das Keyboard Model S Professional (old Costar model), Corsair Vengeance K70 and CM Storm Trigger.
While the Logitech G710+ is one of the most beautiful keyboards I've ever used, the quality is complete crap. So realistically i am tossing up between the Logitech or the ducky, So please comment

The website that i think that i will be getting the keyboard from is Pc case gear, So i would rather links be coming from there because then i can relate. Now I have been recently looking at the Ducky Blue LED with he Cherry MX browns Shine 3, Then I late realized that the New Logitech keyboard or the G710+ Has the cherry Mx browns which i think is a first for Logitech.Īfter using the Logitech i do like it, but now i have a conflict on brands, I mean there are always going to be people saying that they don't like the Logitech or they don't like the ducky but i would like to have others opinion despite the biased part of their opinions.
It is a good keyboard I liked it up and until recently the matte feel of the keys has rubbed off and now is all shiny, I don't mind it but i thought that it might be time for a new keyboard.Īnyway, I was looking and specific keys before i went onto look at brands, I was originally looking at the cherry mx Blues, though they sounds really nice and they are good for typing (mainly, I hear) I do, do a bit of gaming so i started to look at the Chery Mx Browns, once I was happy with that as they are a the best of both worlds i started to look at actual keyboards,

I am looking to upgrade my Logitech G510 as it is 3 years or so old, which is is old and my desktop. So I am new to this forum after doing a bit of research i thought this might be the place to go for some opinions for a mechanical keyboard.
